ABOUT THE ROLE As a Registered Nurse, your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering safe, research-based standards of nursing care;
- Supporting patients through their recovery period;
- Contributing to quality improvement and safety initiatives;
- Collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to optimise outcomes;
- Acting as a role model for safe, compassionate practice.
You will be managing high-acuity patients with complex post-operative needs, offering you the opportunity to deepen your clinical expertise in a supportive and well-resourced environment.
REQUIREMENTS - Current AHPRA registration;
- 1-2 years of surgical nursing experience;
- Working with Children check;
- Specialty nursing experience - general adult surgery - Bariatrics, Colorectal, Plastics;
- Commitment to Quality Patient Care;
- Compliance with ACQSHC National standards;
- Sound clinical decision-making and problem-solving skills;
- Excellent communication and customer service skills;
- Ability to wrok well independently and within a team;
- Intermediate computer skills.
REMUNERATION $35.46 - $49.79 per hour.

The Operating Theatre complex has 16 theatres, 32 first-stage recovery bays, and additional 32-second stage chairs.
